These are original Ejectors for all Marks of .303" BREN Light Machine Gun.

The ejector sits beneath the magazine catch and is secured in place by the same pin. The tip of the ejector sits between the 'horns' of the breech block and as the fired case is extracted from the breech by the rearward movement of the breech block the rim of the case contacts the tip of the ejector forcing the case to pivot around the extractor claw and be thrown out of the opening underneath the gun. It is one of the most efficient ejectors ever designed.

These ejectors have been removed from service guns. The finish of the ejectors varies and will have suffered cosmetically through use, but these are all serviceable and in good mechanical condition.
